Founder & Executive Chairman
Tomoko Namba is the Founder and Executive Chairman of DeNA. Namba served as the company's CEO since its founding in 1999 until June 2011. Prior to founding DeNA, she was a partner at McKinsey & Co. She obtained an MBA at Harvard Business School in 1990.
President & CEO
Shingo Okamura graduated from the Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology and Faculty of Letters at the University of Tokyo, and joined the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (currently the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications) in April 1995. In 2015 he took up the position of Senior Planning Officer in the Planning Division of the Postal Services Policy Department in the Information and Communication Bureau of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. He joined DeNA in April 2016, where he became the Representative Director & President of the Yokohama Stadium Co., Ltd. In October 2016 he was made the Representative Director & President of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars Baseball Club, Inc. In July 2017 he became an Executive Officer and Head of the Sports Business Unit for DeNA, and after becoming Managing Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chairman of Yokohama Stadium Co., Ltd. (present) in April 2019, he was then made Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in June 2019. As of April 2021, Okamura is the President & CEO (present).
